Coffs Harbour is a small city (population around 72,000) on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia.
It is located on the eastern seaboard, about halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. To be precise, it’s 550km north of Sydney and 450km south of Brisbane.
Coffs Harbour is serviced by 4 airlines: Qantas, Virgin Australia, Tiger Airways and Brindabella Airlines, with flights from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
Flights to Coffs from Sydney or Brisbane only take 1 hour, and the Coffs Harbour Regional Airport is only 5 minutes from the Coffs Harbour CBD. Flights between Sydney and Coffs are often on sale for less than $80 one way.

Surrounding towns and villages include Red Rock, Woolgoolga, Emerald Beach, Moonee Beach, Sapphire Beach, Sawtell, Mylestom, Urunga, Nambucca, Bellingen, Dorrigo, Coramba and Nana Glen.
There is so much to see and do on the Coffs Coast (which the region around Coffs Harbour is called) that you can spend many weeks here and do something entirely different every single day.
What I personally love about Coffs Harbour is the scenic harbour area, the many gorgeous views, abundant trees and birds, scenic waterways and lovely cafés with outdoor seating everywhere.
